CoinBell is a cryptocurrency price and alert app. This policy describes exactly what we collect and why. We have tried to keep it specific rather than broad — if something is not listed here, we do not collect it.

What we collect without an account

The app works fully without signing in. In that state we store:

• A device identifier we generate ourselves — a random id created on first launch. It is not your advertising id, IMEI or any hardware identifier.
• A push notification token from Firebase Cloud Messaging, so alerts can reach your device.
• Your watchlist and alert settings, so they survive an app restart and can be evaluated on our servers.
• App version and platform, for support and to know which versions are still in use.

What we collect if you sign in

Signing in with Google is optional. It exists so your watchlist and alerts follow you to another device. If you sign in we receive from Google, and store, your name, email address and profile picture. We never receive your Google password.

What we never collect

• Exchange API keys or trading credentials — the app is monitoring only and cannot place trades.
• Payment card details.
• Your contacts, photos, location, or the other apps on your device.
• Your advertising identifier.

Why we store it

Price monitoring runs on our servers rather than on your phone — that is what lets an alert reach you with the app closed, without draining your battery. To do that we have to know which coins you are watching and what would count as an alert for you.

Who else sees it

• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers push notifications. It receives the notification text and your push token.
• Google Sign-In, only if you choose to sign in.

Market data comes from Binance, MEXC and CoinGecko. We send them no information about you — our servers fetch public market data once and serve it to everyone.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

Your watchlist, alerts and alert history are kept until you delete them or delete your account. A device that has not opened the app for a long time is removed along with its data.

Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Delete account. This removes your account, watchlist, alerts, alert history and push token immediately, and cannot be undone. Full details are on our account deletion page.

If you never signed in, clearing the app's data or uninstalling it leaves the device record with no way to identify you; it is removed automatically once it stops checking in.

Children

CoinBell is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Not financial advice

Prices and alerts are information, not advice. Market data can be delayed or wrong, and we do not guarantee that an alert will arrive or arrive in time. Do not use CoinBell as your only source for a financial decision.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
